Returns & Refunds policy

At Al's Notary Next Door, we strive to provide reliable and professional services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms regarding refunds for deposits, notarization, apostille services, and other consulting services. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms:

1. Deposit Refunds
  • A $10-$230 deposit is required to book an appointment.

  • Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 before the appointment.

  • If an appointment is canceled 12 hours or more in advance, the deposit may be refunded or applied to a future appointment.

2. Notarization & Remote Online Notary (RON) Services
  • Once a notarization is completed, no refunds will be issued, as the service is considered fulfilled.

  • If a client fails to provide the necessary documents or identification, the deposit is forfeited, and the appointment must be rescheduled with a new deposit.

  • For online notarization, if the session is disconnected due to client-side technical issues (e.g., internet failure), the deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled session.

3. Apostille Services & Expedited Fees
  • Apostille service fees are non-refundable once the documents have been submitted to the appropriate agency.

  • If an expedited service is delayed due to government processing times, the expedited fee may be refunded partially or in full, depending on the situation.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring all required documents are correct before submission. Refunds will not be issued for errors caused by incorrect or missing client-provided information.

4. Service Errors & Refund Requests
  • If a notarization or apostille service was not completed due to an error on our part, we will either:

    • Correct the error at no additional charge, or

    • Issue a partial or full refund, depending on the circumstances.

  • All refund requests must be submitted via email at payment@note2kcassets.com within 12 hours of the service date.

5. Dispute Resolution
  • If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us first to resolve the issue.

  • Disputes regarding payments or refunds may be subject to mediation or arbitration in Missouri.
